US rapper Offset was shot on Monday night near a major casino in Florida. The 34-year-old star, whose real name is Kiari Kendrell Cephus, is currently stable in the hospital, according to his team.
The shooting happened at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino. Police said it took place in the valet parking area after 7 p.m.
Offset suffered injuries that are not believed to be life-threatening, and he was taken to Memorial Regional Hospital in Hollywood.
Offset’s representative confirmed the incident, saying, “Offset was shot and is at the hospital. He is stable and under good care.”

Police responded quickly, securing the area and detaining two people believed to be connected to the attack. Officials said the location is now safe, and there is no ongoing danger to the public. The investigation remains ongoing.

Seminole police gave details. “We got a call about a shooting in the valet zone,” they said. “One man was hurt but not in bad shape. We took him to the hospital.” Two suspects are in custody. Casino runs normally. No one else was hurt.
Offset gained fame as a member of Migos, alongside Quavo and Takeoff. The group dominated hip-hop in the 2010s. Tragically, Takeoff was shot and killed in 2022 at the age of 28 outside a bowling alley in Houston.

Patrick Xavier Clark has been charged with murder in connection with the incident, and his trial is set to begin on November 9.
